21 October 2022An innovative system for the construction of swimming pools to combine quality and design
It is a patented system that through a special production process combines stainless steel and PVC to create modules for the construction of swimming pools. These are the ingredients behind the Myrtha technology.
In particular, it is a modular system of stainless steel panels with hot-rolled PVC directly in the factory and infinite possibilities of fine aesthetic finishes for those who, in choosing their pool, put quality and design first.
Teknopiscine specializes in the design and construction of swimming pools in Apulia, and is an authorized concessionaire for Piscine Castiglione, a world leader in the construction of swimming pools, including the pools of major international sports competitions.
What is Myrtha technology
It consists of a stainless steel structure on which a thin layer of PVC is hot rolled. This patented and certified processing takes place directly in the factory and the custom-made structural modules are a product ready to be installed. A more sustainable solution than concrete or prefabricated pools.
Myrtha technology is able to absorb micro-movements of the ground without damage, which can happen in concrete pools and is very common in fiberglass pools installed in areas subject to small shocks or landslides. Solution certified also for NTC 2008, the coupling of steel and PVC guarantees resistance and durability over time. The level of waterproofing is total. The hot-rolled PVC on the panels ensures a complete seal of the tank.
The advantages of Myrtha technology
- Quality and Design;
- Myrtha technology has a reduced environmental impact because it boasts the longest life cycle on the market;
- it represents the perfect synthesis between the construction speed of prefabricated pools and the design freedom of concrete;
- it is not necessary to create formworks for pouring the concrete and it is not necessary to wait for drying times. Reinforced concrete is susceptible to soil settling with the risk of micro-cracks which could then expand over time and allow water infiltration and corrosion of the reinforcement;
- stainless steel and the modular system, on the other hand, guarantee flexibility and absorption of micro-movements of the ground and are certified as anti-seismic;
- Myrtha technology allows the creation of any shape and size thanks to the modularity of the system and the flexibility of the material.
